(Studio) Talk of removing only price control in oil industry

(DC) 75% United States oil is price controlled. Idea is to increase domestic prices, reducing demand, incling. production and cutting imports and forcing world prices down. [Senator Henry JACKSON - says decontrolling price would cost $9 billion in fuel costs for Americans Trigger coal and natural gas increases Calls it inflationary balloon.] [Federal energy chief John SAWHILL - says decontrolling would run counter to controlling inflation and would swell oil industry profits.]
