(Studio) Secretary of State Henry Kissinger meets with Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairperson William Fulbright and other congress members back from China.

(DC) Kissinger's role in Chile coup under fire along with Kissinger's aides' testimony re; American involvement. [FULBRIGHT - wants to know if perjury committed by aides.] [Senator Hubert HUMPHREY - doesn't think CIA should be engaged in covert operations.] Fulbright may reopen hearings although Fulbright may be named as new ambassador to Great Britain, making Kissinger his boss.
