(Studio) Pace increases as Watergate cover-up trial date nears. John Dean, H.R. Haldeman on hand for day's step-up. Former President Nixon subpoenaed as defense witness; special prosecutor Leon Jaworski may also subpoena Nixon.

(DC) Former White House aide John Ehrlichman asks Judge John Sirica to delay Watergate trials till Nixon able to appear as witness. All defense attys. reject prosecution's suggestion to allow White House tapes be admitted as evidence without Nixon's personal testimony with regard to any tape alterations.
