(Studio) South Carolina supreme court rules unanimously that Democrat gubernatorial candidate Charles Ravenel not qualified to become candidate because of state residency laws.

(Columbia, SC) Many Ravenel backers attempt to get South Carolina governor John West to change state residency law. Many Democrats would prefer more conservative candidate such as William Jennings Bryan Dorn to Ravenel. [RAVENEL - says no basis for quarrel with state supreme court exists.]
