(Studio) Vice President designate Nelson Rockefeller appears for 3rd day at confirmation hearings.

(DC) Rockefeller admits recing. pleas for financial help from former Vice President Spiro Agnew and former White House aide John Ehrlichman. [ROCKEFELLER - says he didn't grant requests.] [Senator Robert BYRD - asks if Rockefeller were President would he invoke executive privilege to prevent members of executive branch from appearing before congress cmtes.] [ROCKEFELLER - refuses to be solidly committed.] Public witnesses for and against Rockefeller appear tomorrow.
