(Studio) Attorney General William Saxbe meets with 13 representatives of states with lotteries.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd
(DC) Saxbe says federal laws forbid use of mails, interstate advertising, or national banks for ticket sales and payoffs. [SAXBE - says if Congress doesn't act, Justice Department will get injunctions against lotteries.] [MD Governor Marvin MANDEL - says law enacted before state lotteries began.] Saxbe to file suit in 90 days.
