(DC) President meets with economy advisers. [Econ. adviser John DUNLOP - believes continuing tax deduction likely to be better for economy than 1-time deduction.] White House spokesperson Ronald Nessen says President considering tax cut proposals carefully.

(Studio) Revenue loss brought on by tax cut could be made up by revenues from President' anticipated energy proposals; plan would raise gas prices and hike taxes on crude oil and natural gas.
