(Studio) Balloon flight over Atlantic again deferred.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(Santa Ana, California) Publisher Malcolm Forbes behind 13th try to cross Atlantic to Europe. Friday film shown. [FORBES - says could land in France, Spain or Africa.] Sunday film shown. [FORBES - says we'd go to Honolulu if lifted off now.] Winds good today. [FORBES - describes landing possibilities.] 7 died in other attempts. 2 clusters balloons came loose and ship dragged along ground. Launch director cut balloons loose from ship and saved Forbes' and Dr. Thomas Heinsheimer's lives. Forbes indicated trip still on.
