(Madrid, Spain) 15 police murdered in Spain this year Friends and family weep over coffins. Some Spanish call for resignation of Premier Carlos Arias Navarro, claiming he's not tough enough. Others say he's very tough. Arias says on television that Spain won't be intimidated.

(W. Germany) Condemnation of executions continue in Europe. 15 minute strikes held in factories. city transport at standstill.
