(Studio) Pursuit of Patricia Hearst takes some new turns and adds new characters.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd

(San Francisco, California) Former athletic director of Overland College in Ohio, Jack Scott, now sought in Hearst case. CBS learns investigators believe Scott and his wife helping Patty and Bill and Emily Harris escape arrest. Scott controversial figure in sports. Scott and wife left Ohio last year and moved to OR; they moved in with basketball star Bill Walton for a time. Walton rptdly. denies knowledge of Scott's whereabouts or any knowledge of their SLA connections. FBI suspects Scotts carried Patty and Harrises from W. Coast to Pennsylvania farmhse. Miss Hearst's fingerprints rptdly. found in farmhse. FBI currently checking Las Vegas, NV, for new leads.
