(Studio) South Vietnam government abandons Quang Tri Province; is about to give up Thua Thien Province. Govt. surrender of central highlands provinces results in largest exodus in Vietnam's long war.

(Central Highlands, South Vietnam) Hundreds of military men and civilians fleeing from central highlands to coast. More than 100,000 people in convoy trying to reach coast. Before refugees from Ban Me Thuot can reach safety, they must travel through Communist country for 2 days.
