(Studio) Cambodia's President Lon Nol leaves country for self-imposed exile; hopes to pave way for peace by leaving.

(Phnom Penh, Cambodia) Gens., cabinet mbrs., relatives, friends all gather to bid President goodbye. As Lon Nol leaves, insurgents continue to rocket Phnom Penh; refugees choke its streets. United States ambassador John Gunther Dean at airport to bid Lon Nol farewell. Real hope now exists for peace negotiations.
