(Naugaturk, Connecticut) Candy makers admit candy bars shrinking; calls fact an econ. reality not consumer ripoff. FDA (Food and Drug Administration) requires candy man list weight of candy on wrapper; Confectionery Mfrs. Corporation petitioning FDA (Food and Drug Administration) to drop requirement; reasons given. [Peter Paul Incorporated Lloyd ELSTON - says his company prints own wrappers so putting weight on wrapper no problem. Smaller companies hurt by regulation, however.] History of Baby Ruth bar followed from 1960-1975.
