(Studio) Unusual malpractice suit against Mid. West doctor threatens to end career for doctor who doesn't charge for his services.
REPORTER: Bob Schieffer

(Aurora, Illinois) For 3 years, Dr. Eugene Balthazar has been running free medical clinic for poor and unemployed. Former patient suing him for $100,000. Details of malpractice suit outlined. [BALTHAZAR - admits problem reaching insurmountable proportions.] [Patients, Beverly HICKS, Albert MUSICH - react negatively to suit.] Dr. Frederick Schoenfeld also being sued by same woman for $100,000. [SCHOENFELD - says malpractice insurance up $2000 as result of suit. Has seriously considered quitting medical field altogether.]
