(Studio) CIA under investigation with regard to involvement in plots to assassinate foreign leaders

(Langley, Virginia) In past year CIA involved in allegations of covert operations, domestic surveillance and assassination plots. CIA involvement in Chile, CIA operation against Vietnam protestors and other dissidents and anti-Castro plots all lead to investigations either by Rockefeller commission or Congress hearings. [Former CIA director Richard HELMS - says CIA not responsible for assassinating any foreign leaders as far as he knew.] Committee chairperson Frank Church has reservations about Helms testimony; details given.
