(Studio) Truckers' threatened work stoppage as predicted by trucker John Sassi doesn't materialize. Threat not over, however.

(Bartonsville, Pennsylvania) [Independent trucker Don MELVIN - explains pay cut caused by fuel shortage, but he can't stop trucking because it's been his job 28 years] Independent truckers earn their money under adverse conditions; truck stop is oasis for drivers. If truckers stick together, work stoppage could cripple nation.
