(Studio) Consumer prices rose 0.8% in June.

(DC) Meat, poultry and fish prices up 5.8.; home food prices up 1.9%. Gasoline and motor oil up 3%. Used cars up 3.7%. Treasury Secretary William Simon says figures will bounce around. Press Secretary Ron Nessen doesn't expect such big rises each month

(Studio) Alcoa to boost prices 2.3% on August 10. Brazil frost to cause coffee prices to jump. Orders for durable goods rose 0.9% in June.
