(Studio) President Ford becomes 2nd American president to visit Warsaw.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd

(Warsaw, Poland) Crowds line motorcade rte.; not as enthusiastic as crowd that greeted ex-President Richard Nixon. Ford places wreath at tomb of unknown soldier. Document Ford to sign in Helsinki will recognize West borders of country drawn after World War II. Mrs. Ford cancels p.m. events and rests. Ford at folk-dancing exhibit and showcase "old town" of Warsaw. [FORD - asks about kind of pears.] He tastes 1. Ford and Polish leaders sign agreement to promote trade and cultural exchange.
