(Studio) Av. farm prices up 3% in month ending July 15. Soviet grain buy puts up prices of wheat, corn and barley. Senate subcommittee studies possible food price increase

(DC) Assistant Agriculture Secretary Richard Bell says food price rise to be minimal. [Senator Lawton CHILES - says prices to rise due to USSR sale.] [BELL - says no cut-off levels on sale to USSR .] [CHILES - asks why should we watch levels of sale if no control.] Economist predicts sale could add 4-5% to food bills.
