(Studio) White House cnsl. Melvin Laird resigns from Nixon staff. Laird replaced John Ehrlichman.
REPORTER: Howard K. Smith

(White House) Laird leaves on good terms. [LAIRD - believes Congress should vote on question of impeachment no later than March 15. Thinks vote would be negative.] House Judiciary Committee agrees to set April as date for or against recommending impeachment to full House Senate Watergate committee prepared to deliver 3 subpoenas to White House involving over 500 tapes, documents, etc.
