(Studio) Vice President Nelson Rockefeller denies wrongdoing while New York Governor with regard to nursing home scandals.

(New York) To Moreland Cmsn., Vice President denied instructing aide to intervene on behalf of nursing home millionaire, Bernard Bergman. [ROCKEFELLER - says asked aide to look into matter, not intervene.] [Chairperson Morris ABRAM - asks if aide intervened and failed.] [ROCKEFELLER - says don't try to intervene and fail from governor's office.] [ABRAM - says no way anybody could compel people not to talk to you.] [ROCKEFELLER - asks if anybody told not to talk to him.] [ABRAM - says doesn't think so.] [ROCKEFELLER - want to know.] [CNSL. - says incorrect.] Rockefeller to go before New York grand jury to explain his actions during 1971 prison riot.
