(Studio) Iowa begins picking Democratic Convention representatives at caucuses next week
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(Iowa) Senator Birch Bayh campaigns throughout state. [BAYH - compares campaigning to performances.] Bayh encourages open forums. [BAYH - says must test people to separate men from boys, or find out which ones can keep their cools.] [MAN - asks if Bayh would abort his own child.] [BAYH - says wouldn't want my wife to have abortion because she's not in position to and it is no one's business why.] [BAYH - says people aren't bashful to Senator and will speak their minds.] [BAYH - says trying to gain understanding of what's on people's minds.]
