(Studio) Moslem and Palestinian gunman attack Christian villages. Heavy fighting in Beirut's eastern suburbs.

(Beirut, Lebanon) Phalangists use flares to prevent leftists and Palestinians from sneaking into besieged refugee camp at Del Zaatar. Factory burns down near camp. Phalangists take over and burn 2nd refugee camp and surround 3rd camp. Snipers close key roads and bridges. Could be widespread famine. PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leader Yasir Arafat says 70,000 Palestinians under attack in Lebanon. Warns of retaliation.
