(New York) Unemployment 8.2% at start of 1975; 9.2% in May and 8.3% in December No. of unemployed incrd.; number of employed incrd. Black unemployment 13.4% in January `75; white unemployment 7.5%. Black unemployment 13.7% in December; 7.5% for whites. No. people who stopped looking for employment declined.
