(DC) Cloud carrying radioactive material from blast to begin passing over United States Saturday Monitoring equipment in operation. [Office of Radiation Programs Dr. William ROWE - says there should be no problem unless severe storm occurs while cloud is approaching.] Radiation contamination did occur on eastern seaboard in October; details given. American opposition to open atmospheric testing known; not known if United States has filed complaint with China with regard to testing.
