(Studio) President-elect Jimmy Carter is moving slowly on selecting appointees.

(Washington, DC) Carter transition team sources say at least 2 women are among top candidates being considered for Attorney General: Shirley M. Hufstedler, United States Court of Appeals judge in San Francisco, and Texas Representative Barbara Jordan. Others high on list are Burke Marshall (civil rights div. chief under President Kennedy), John Doar (chief cnsl. of House impeachment investigation of President Nixon) , A. Leon Higginbotham (black federal judge in Philadelphia), and Griffin Bell (former United States appeals court judge from Georgia). Sources say CIA director to be picked after Attorney General Other appointments now settled cited.
