(Studio) Mondale flies to Plains to meet with Carter.

(Plains, Georgia) [MONDALE - says it's nice to have President without accent.] Picture-taking session noted; later Press Secretary Jody Powell says 1st contacts already made with regard to transition. [POWELL - notes amount of speculation with regard to offices to be filled and says those who speculate the most know the least.] Carter will go to Saint Simons Island off Georgia coast on Saturday for working vacation.
