REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(New Hampshire) [Morris UDALL - tells anecdote with regard to Adlai Stevenson.] Udall does remind voters over 40 of his hero, Stevenson. Udall is low-key, thoughtful and wry. [UDALL - tells joke about political] Udall rptdly. has best political organization in New Hampshire. [UDALL - says can do good in Massachusetts if he does good in New Hampshire, and can be nominee. Democrats will win.] Udall loose and relaxed; shown campaigning. [UDALL - says need new economy if old economy doesn't work. Wants full employment.] Archibald Cox, Ramsey Clark and others endorsed him. [UDALL - has feeling of momentum now. Speaks to campaign workers.] Udall thinks Jimmy Carter has New Hampshire lead but more concerned over beating other liberals.
