(Studio) Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Bureau issues report on handguns. Congress committee says "no" to tough gun control.

(DC) Report shows that 45% of guns used in street crimes are Saturday night specials; large number bought in pawn shops and 6% of guns stolen. Bureau hd., Rex Davis, says gun control passage would ban 71% of crime guns traced during study period. [DAVIS - explains fast tracing techniques.] House Judiciary Committee just defeated 2 tough gun control measures.
