(Studio) President Ford campaigns in New Hampshire. Would like to see prayer restored to public schools.
REPORTER: Bob Schieffer
(New Hampshire) At University of New Hampshire news conf., Ford regrets Supreme Court ruling with regard to prayer in schools; would support const. amendment to change situation. Will not debate with Ronald Reagan. [FORD - cites his record.] Ford meets campaign workers. Ford's chances assessed. Norris Cotton predicts Ford victory in New Hampshire, but not an impressive one. Poor org. blamed. Ford may return to New Hampshire.
