(El Paso Cnty., Colorado) Cattlemen reduce herds in effort to cut costs. [Cattle rancher Marlan BARDLEY - says will try to hold on until moisture comes.] Result is more beef on market at lower prices. [Beef packer Ken MONFORT - says this means shortage of meat and higher prices in long run.] Beef experts predict rising prices in 4-5 weeks [Cattle rancher Ward EDWARDS - says hopes for better times.]
