REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(San Francisco, California) Hearst nervous on last day of trial. Judge Oliver Carter gives instructions to jury. Catherine Hearst leaves court weeping. [US attorney James BROWNING - says case has been actively prosecuted by both government and defense] [Defense attorney F. Lee BAILEY - says there'll always be controversy with regard to trial's outcome.] Jurors to deliberate 8 hrs. per day.
