(Cincinnati, Ohio) National black political convention opens with music and speeches. [Convention leader Roy DANIELS - says not much to choose from in presidential race. Cites conservatism of candidates. Blacks can inspire people on issues and possibly win.] Convention to nominate Representative Ronald Dellums for President Group hopes to be on ballot in 20-30 states. Georgia state senate Julian Bond turned nomination down; he's for Representative Morris Udall. [BOND - says blacks must have another way to go if Democrats don't nominate candidate acceptable to blacks.]
