(Chicago, Illinois) Teamster contract expires Wednesday but companies shipping goods long distances are holding back for fear of strike. 20% Teamsters covered under contract. Teamster locals hold mtgs. all over United States and reject latest offer. They're sanctioning strike as bargaining tool.
