(Englewood, New Jersey) Part of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Inc. film shown. George Burns and Walter Matthau play 2 aging vaudevillians. Edward Sullivan had vaudeville team of Smith and Dale on his television show many times. Film of December 31, 1961, show shown. Smith and Dale's theatrical careers noted. Charlie Dale died in 1971. Joe Smith, 92, lives in Actor's Fund Home in New Jersey. [SMITH - tells how duo got their name. Explains closeness with Dale and how he thinks of Dale often.]
