(Studio) Report on Patricia Hearst trial.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(San Francisco, California) Defense attorney F. Lee Bailey objects to qualifications of government witness, psychiatrist, Dr. Joel Fort. Bailey asks Fort if he tried to fix case with Hearsts. Fort says no; that he wanted to avoid public trial. Bailey and Fort's argument quoted. Prosecutor James Browning asks Fort if they discussed fixing case or a place on federal bench for Browning. Fort says no.
