(DC) Ford says Pennsylvania primary will show whether Jimmy Carter was hurt by his remark concerning "ethnic purity." [FORD - says wouldn't use term "ethnic purity." Ethnic heritage is great United States treasure and federal actions shouldn't be used to destroy that treasure. Will uphold law in all cases.] John Connally visits Ford. Ford won't make Vice President choice known until Republican convention He thinks Democratic presidential candidate will be Senator Hubert H. Humphrey.
