REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(Charleston, West Virginia) Moore accused of conspiring to extort $25,000 from pres. of company that wanted bank charter in 1972. Moore and codefendant and ex-admin. assistant, William Loy, deny extorting funds from Diversified Mountaineer Corporation Moore says case is personal vendetta by prosecutor, US attorney John Field. United States District Court Judge Joseph Young chosen for case.
