(Studio) James McCord and G. Gordon Liddy in jail unable to raise $100,000 bail.
REPORTER: Harry Reasoner
(DC) Judge John Sirica comes close to accusing Hugh Sloan, Junior, former Nixon campaign official, of perjury. Sloan gave Liddy $199,000; testified he didn't know what money was for. Said he only knew Jeb Magruder, Maurice Stans and John Mitchell had authorized payment. Judge Sirica says hopes Congress investigation will get to bottom of Watergate case. Says feels Sloan not telling whole truth.
