(Rome, Italy) Moro appeals Wednesday for help from Parliament in keeping his government alive. Other ptys. refuse to help and Moro announces resignation. Communists received 2% less strength than Christian Democrats in last year's local elections. Leone asks Moro to stay on in caretaker role.
