REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(Studio) No reason why foreign policy debate should be shunned in political campaign. Reagan's assertions with regard to United States foreign policy noted. Ford's actions seem to show agreement with Reagan. Decisions made due to political pressure. Dangers noted. Diplomatic dialogue should be continued with USSR . Ford should take opposite line of Reagan.
