(Studio) Senator Walter Mondale says Senate Intelligence Committee uncovered another surprise.

(DC) FBI had an "assassination file." Unidentified television show film clip shown. [MONDALE - believes file concerned assassination attempts against Fidel Castro. Committee received indications that there are FBI files that haven't been seen.] Committee documented 50 times in which CIA dismissed counterintelligence leads because veteran CIA official James Angleton afraid they might be Russian plants. Mondale says Angleton feared leads might be Russian tricks. Angleton says claim is false.
