(DC) 2 ardent Hubert H. Humphrey supporters organization the draft committee [Representative Paul SIMON - says can't stand by and do nothing when Hubert H. Humphrey fills needs.] New York Democrat Joseph Crangle met with Hubert H. Humphrey yesterday. Says he didn't hear Hubert H. Humphrey tell him not to go ahead. [HUMPHREY - says Simon and Crangle feel convention may turn to him and they want to be prepared.] Supporters say Hubert H. Humphrey could go to convention with 300 votes; predict victory on 3rd ballot.
