(DC) New committee is outgrowth of 15-mo. panel study led by Senator Frank Church. Past Senator oversight cmtes. listed. These cmtes. failed to do the work required of them. New committee incls. 2 members from each of these cmtes. New committee to control CIA's budget and legislature Oversight of FBI to be shared with Senate Appropriations and Judiciary Cmtes. Oversight of NSA to be shared with Senate Appropriations and Armed Services Cmtes. Oversight of DIA to also be shared with latter 2 cmtes. Oversight of State Department intelligence to be shared with Senate Foreign Relations Committee [CHURCH - believes illegal activities will come to the committee 's attention] Committee can make classified information public.
