(Studio) Report on new group that will be at Democratic Convention
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(London, England) Group called "Democrats Abroad" will send delegates to Democratic Convention 39 Americans running for 6 seats. Ea. delegate to have 1/2 vote. [Chairperson Democrats Abroad Toby HYDE - comments on the perspective held by Americans abroad.] Platform emphasizes Medicare benefits for Americans abroad, gun control, congress monitoring of CIA and amnesty for Vietnam draft dodgers and deserters. 1 of candidates is draft dodger who could be arrested if goes to convention in NYC. [Candidate Fritz EFAW - says he is bringing attention to amnesty issue.] Delegates campaign in England and West Europe. It's hard to locate registered Democrats abroad. Turnout of 5000 expected. Showing of "All The President's Men" used as fund raiser.
