(Studio) Jimmy Carter and Senator Frank Church appeal for support of Ohio organized labor.

(Ohio) Carter and Church speak to Ohio AFL-CIO convention [CHURCH - takes pride in voting record as friend of working man.] Carter's welcome restrained. His remarks outlined. [CARTER - would be glad to sign repeal of 14B. Democrat opponents are Ford and Reagan. Democrats must strive for party and national unity.] Delegates critical of Carter for listing issues he's spoken of before and for promising to sign repeal of 14B, not take up campaign for its repeal.
