(Rhodesia) Funerals due to 3 1/2 year old civil war becoming more frequent. Death of Captain Leonard Pitch noted. Main attacks have come from Mozambique. 60% increase ordered in size of Rhodesia's military forces. Guerrilla army size estimated at 5000; 1000 are in Rhodesia. All white Rhodesian men from 1825 years old may be drafted for 1 1/2 years Others up to 38 years old can be called for 6 mos. per year For. volunteers being recruited. Captured weapons of Soviet and Chinese origin shown to children. Black Rhodesians encouraged to join military forces; all are volunteers. Govt. considers plan to draft blacks. Pitch funeral filmed.
