(Studio) Report on Patricia Hearst and pre-trial hearing.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(Los Angeles, California) Hearst in court with her ex-kidnappers and comrades, William and Emily Harris. She refuses to enter plea to charges. Judge entered "not guilty" plea for her. Hearst takes 5th amendment; refuses to answer questions about her arrest or Los Angeles crime spree. Charges may be dropped if Hearst testifies against Harrises. District Attorney says no deal made.
