(Studio) Report on Nebraska and parole case.
REPORTER: Dan Rather

(York, Nebraska) WOWT-TV 1958 film shows Caril Ann Fugate who with Chas. Starkweather was arrested for killing 10 in Wyoming and Nebraska. Starkweather executed and Fugate, then 14, sentenced to life in prison. 18 years later, Fugate brought before Nebraska parole board [FUGATE - feels sorry for people who've hated her for 18 years] No 1 appeared to oppose parole for her. Bd. votes 4-1 to let Fugate be paroled June 20. She gets new home and identity and fresh start. She'll live in Michigan.
