(Studio) Secretary of State Henry Kissinger suggests US, China (PR), and North and South Korea meet this fall in New York with regard to new Korean armistice and reducing Asian tensions. Kissinger criticizes South Korean President Park Chung Hee's dictatorial regime.

(S. Korea) April `76 film shows church. No criticism allowed of President Park Chung Hee. Human rights organization meets and prays for those jailed for speaking out. Criticism of government equated with treason. Govt.'s actions against dissenters noted. 119 Congmen. wrote letter to President Ford re: oppression of human rights. United States maintains strong military backing for South Korea, but American high-level representatives deplore loss of civil rights in Korea. Since Vietnam, Korea believes United States lost willingness to oppose Communist movements throughout world. Park determined to go his own way and guard cntry. against Communism by wiping out all Democrat freedoms.
